"The French artist Michel Gérard and the Russian poet Marina Tëmkina propose taking a group of onetime pedestals, stripped of their statues, inverting them, and planting a variety of humble vegetables on their tops, in celebration of the 'Post-Leninist Crop.'"

Project initiated by Komar and Melamid, shown in a traveling exhibition at the World Trade Center.
